Bathroom Fitters in Baldock

Rated 5.0 on Google · Fully insured

One of our recent Baldock bathrooms gave the bath and the shower half the room each: sage panelling and a freestanding bath at one end, a herringbone stone look shower at the other. In September 2026 we took on another full bathroom renovation in the town, and our team handles bathroom installations and renovations like these across Baldock and the villages around it, designing, supplying and fitting every part.

A bathroom in sage and marble, Baldock

This main bathroom was big enough to treat as two zones, so we did. At the bath end, tongue and groove panelling up to dado height keeps it feeling like a room in the house rather than a wet area. At the shower end, large format stone look tiles laid herringbone mean far fewer grout lines to clean, and a lit niche gives bottles a home off the floor. A linear drain runs along the shower floor so it stays level with the rest of the room. A curved vanity with a marble top and an exposed thermostatic shower finish it.

Bathrooms we design and fit in Baldock

Full bathroom renovations

We strip the room, rethink the layout if it helps, and rebuild it with a new suite, tiling, lighting and heating. The Baldock bathroom above is a full bathroom renovation.

Walk in and level access showers

A linear drain lets the shower floor run straight into the rest of the room, with no tray edge to step over. It suits a family bathroom as well as anyone who finds steps awkward.

En suites and wet rooms

Fitted into a spare corner, a box room or part of a bedroom, with the floor and walls waterproofed first wherever water will reach.

Accessible and mobility bathrooms

Seats, rails, lever taps and level floors, set out around the person who will use them every day.

Cloakrooms

A second toilet downstairs takes pressure off the main bathroom, and a compact wall hung pan and basin make the most of a small space.

Baldock bathroom questions

Can you fit a level access shower with a linear drain?
Yes. A linear drain is a long, slim channel set into the floor, so the shower area can sit level with the rest of the room. The floor is laid to a gentle fall towards it and waterproofed underneath before tiling, which is what keeps the water where it should be.
Do you supply the suite, tiles and brassware, or do we buy them?
Either works. We can supply everything, from the suite and tiles to the taps, shower glass and mirrors. If you have already found pieces you love, send us the links and we'll build the design around them.
What happens at the free design visit?
We come to your Baldock home at a time that suits you, 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends. We measure the room, look at where the pipes and waste run, and talk through how you want to use the space. Then we draw it up in 3D and send you a written quote.
Do you take the old bathroom away?
Yes. Stripping out the old suite and tiles and taking the waste away is part of the job, so you're not left with a skip's worth of rubble to deal with.
How is the price of a new bathroom in Baldock worked out?
After the free design visit we put everything in a written quote: the design, the suite and tiles you've chosen, every trade, the strip out and the clean up. The size of the room, how much of the layout moves and the finishes you pick make the biggest difference. Nothing starts until you've agreed it, and you pay in stages: a deposit, a mid job payment and the balance at handover.
Will the electrics in our new bathroom be certified?
Yes. Lighting, extractor fans, shaver points and electric underfloor heating all count as electrical work, and ours is signed off with an electrical certificate when the bathroom is finished. Keep it with your house documents, because it shows the work was done safely and you'll want it if you ever sell.

Bathroom renovations in Baldock and the villages

We fit bathrooms in Baldock and in the villages around it, from Clothall and Bygrave to Weston, Radwell and Ashwell. The local water is hard, so if your new bathroom has glass screens and chrome, a water softener fitted at the same time keeps them clear of scale for longer.
